Games and Traffic (6.1)

Once you’ve loaded up your Everest Poker account, you’ll discover that the site isn’t too keen on opening up their game variety.  Similar to 888 Poker, Everest only offers Texas Holdem and Omaha.  Each game is available in variations of No Limit, Pot Limit, and Fixed Limit.  There have been reports from their executives that Stud is next in line to be added to the game lineup. 

Table stakes that are currently offered run as low as $.02/$.04 to as high as $25/$50, with standard rake limits capped at a maximum of $3.  The site is known for its loose players, and the flop percentages at lower stakes games are routinely exceeding 50 to 60 percent.

Tournaments (7.4)

Current promotions and tournaments being offered at Everest Poker are very unique to say the least.  With their “Live the Dream” promo, players have the opportunity to win a $100,000 package that would consist of having paid buy-ins to such events as the WSOP, WPT, and the EPT throughout the entire year!

Software (6.9)

The software at Everest Poker has a very basic and simple feel to it.  It’s not the greatest in the industry, but it certainly very playable and doesn’t have a lot of lag.  It offers your standard oval table design, green felt, and human-like avatars you can use when you choose a seat to play in. 

You can change your seat rotation by clicking a button, the hand histories are easily accessible, and you can check out vital stats while sitting in during your session. 

Players can also play up to 8 tables at a time.  The lobby has a number of filters and tabs to help you find any ring game or tournament, and a special “Find a Seat” option to help expedite your search.  The software put out by Grand Virtual Technology is still pretty user-friendly and very versatile.

Support (5.8)

The customer service team at Everest Poker could use a few improvements.  Although they don’t currently offer phone or live chat assistance, representatives will always return player email inquiries within a fast amount of time.  Rest assured you will always get a detailed response despite the lack of options to reach the support staff.
