Online Poker Tells
Online poker tells can be much easier to discover than that of live play. When you're playing live poker, you have to watch for many different actions to get the best read. Of course there are some exceptions, depending on skill level of your opponent.
You can't physically see your opponent when playing online poker, so you would think it would be harder. However, it's actually easier to read the weaker players online. There are a few basic tells that you will find by many players online. In fact you may find yourself doing them form time to time.
Don't depend exclusively on these, because strong players will use these tells against you, but if you're a at lower limit table you'll be golden with the below tips.

Online Poker Tells Showing a Weak Hand
1. Very slow check: When your opponents take a long time to check, they usually are trying to make you think that they have a strong hand in hopes of you checking. This is done by many people and can be very easy to see once you play with the person for a small period of time.
2. Very fast call: When your opponent calls your bet instantly, they again want you to think that they have a strong hand. They are hoping that you will check into them rather than bet in the following move. This is a great sign they have a draw.
3. Late position instant check: Your opponent will be in late position and will have the "check" button check. This usually shows a pretty weak hand.
Online Poker Tells Showing a Strong Hand
1. Slow bet/raise: When your opponent takes a little while to bet/raise he is usually holding a strong hand. They want you to think that they are questioning their hand, when in fact they are holding a very strong hand.
2. Instant bet/raise on the river: When your opponent bets or raises right away, they are usually holding a very strong hand, so beware.
