Poker Strategy
Opponent Situational Play
In sit and go's you'll often find that the average type of player varies quite a bit. You'll have the normal loose aggressive players plus the calling stations, but a lot of the time you'll get some of the players listed below, and they call for completely different strategy.
All-In Maniacs
Occasionally you will find yourself in a sit and go where a few of the players go all-in pretty often. Many people refer to them as “all-in maniacs.” Unless you get a good pocket pair or can catch something on the flop it is best sit back and just observe. Sit back and let them knock each other out. You will find it quite funny too, as half the time they will go all in against each other with absolutely nothing. Once they knock each other out, it’s time for you to start playing your game.
At this time the blinds should still be low, so it’s basically like starting a short-handed sit and go, but with a better pay out. Start out the same way that you usually would, tight and gradually loosening up as the game advances. There are other strategies that teach you step by step instruction on how to play a sit and go.

Extremely Tight Opponents
Occasionally you will find yourself in a sit and go where it seems like they is no action what so ever. This is actually a good thing. You may not get an opportunity to win a huge pot early on, but little by little you can increase your stack.
When you find yourself in this situation, you want to take charge of the table. You can bluff more, get people off of their draws, and so on. Just beware that as the sit and go advances, the players may start to loosen up, so adjust accordingly.
