How it works is they will take a look at your account at the end of a month to see what your total winnings were throughout all of your cash games. Easy Competition (7.6)

The competition varies quite a bit with Prime Poker. Since the room is on the OnGame Network you will have many players who are using other skins, therefore traffic is quite high. Due to this the room provides some loose games at the micro limits and tighter games from the mid-stake games and up. The micro games can easily see a viewed flop percentage of 50% and up while the higher limits will average 35%.

Prime Poker provides various cash games supporting more than the traditional Texas Holdem and Omaha. Currently you can choose between Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi Lo, Five Card Draw all with No Limit, Pot Limit and Fixed Limit supported. The cash games start as low as $0.10/$0.20 and climb up to some ultra high stakes with a few table limits set at $1000/$2000 in fixed limit.

The majority of Prime Pokers 9,000 real money players are fixed on Holdem and Omaha Hi Lo, but you should be able to find ample games in Stud during peak hours. Prime Poker takes a 5% rake from each pot with a cap set at $3. The difference with this room is the rake is calculate based on the type of game you are playing and the number of players in the hands along with size of pot in comparison to the big blind. This means that the low limit games can pay much less into the rake than that of the higher limits.

 

Tournaments (7.8)

Prime Poker has a great tournament schedule for players with buyins starting as low as $1 and reaching as high as a couple hundred. You will face plenty of competition since most events attract a good player base. They run satellites and qualifiers for some of the world’s biggest events such as the WSOP and EPT along with their own special tournament packages.

The guaranteed schedule is decent with daily games running with $10,000 guaranteed and a weekly $75,000. Prime Poker has a tournament scheduled to run every five minutes so you will always have one to play at any time.  Prime Poker can attract up to 18,000 real money tournament players. Sit and Go tournaments are available with various buyins and due to the high volume in traffic, wait times for a game to begin are minimal.

Software (7.6)

Prime Poker is backed by the OnGame Network and supports game play via a download client or Java client. This room performs well and offers high-resolution graphics and speed. Once you have registered for an account you should have no difficulties navigating the lobby since it has been designed to offer easy access to all areas of the poker room. You will be provided with in lobby stats, however you will need to click each table to access all of the information.

Once clicked the stats are then displayed on the right hand side and include; viewed flop percentage, hands per hour and average pot size. Prime Poker offers multi-tabling for up four tables at once with resizing capabilities included. You will also be able to access your hand statistics within each game and these are well detailed. Overall, Prime Poker doesn’t provide any fancy tools and features but it is a solid room offering great playability and performance.
