Purple Lounge Points

Purple Lounge Poker doesn't actually use a points system for its bonuses; all bonuses are just based upon the number of raked hands players play.  It's a simple system and it eliminates the need to worry about the confusing rules for earning points that some sites use.

These accumulated hands can be used for the various promotions that Purple Lounge offers each month.  These promotions include bonuses, tournaments and other contests.

Purple Lounge also has a first time deposit bonus of 100% up to $1,000 that is cleared by playing raked hands.  After players have earned 1,000 raked hands, the first $50 of the bonus is released to the account.  After that first $50 is earned, players can earn the rest of the bonus in 500 hand chunks that release $25 each.

The other promotions that use the raked hands system vary month to month so check the Purple Lounge Bonus Code page for the latest promotions and tournaments.  Free tournaments seats are given away all the time, including some with massive prize pools.  Some of these tournaments have prize pools of up to $175,000.  All you have to do is play a certain number of hands and the free entries are yours.

Purple Lounge has another promotion that rewards high volume cash game players.  The top 50 players who play the most hands on the site win significant cash prizes.  Each month, the first place winner wins a cash prize of $7,500.  The rewards extend all the way down to 50th place, with that person receiving $100.

There is also a similar promotion for Sit N Go players.  Purple Lounge gives cash prizes to the top 10 players who play in the most Sit N Go tournaments each month.  The first place finisher who plays the most Sit N Go's each month wins $6,000.  The payouts extend down to 10th place, with that person receiving $100. Earning Purple Lounge VIP Points

VIP Points are automatically earned each month just by playing real money cash games and tournaments.  These points can then be converted into cash each month at a rate of $0.30 per point.  If you earn 2,500 in a month, for example, you could convert those points into $750 cash.
