Red Kings Poker is another fairly new room in online poker boasting a high level of traffic throughout the day, thanks to the support from the OnGame network and the shared player base.

They offer numerous bonuses beyond the sign up offer, and feature a Mac compatible no download java client. They do provide seats to live events and a great tournament schedule. Red Kings does not accept players from the US.

Red Kings Bonus and Rewards (7.2)

Red Kings offers players a choice in bonuses based on your own game level. Currently they have three options available. The first is a 100% match up to $250, followed by a 100% match up to $500 or the high roller bonus – 100% match up to $1000.  These bonuses are all available to players using our signup links and bonus code.

Easy Competition (7.0)

The competition in this room varies from each level. Given that RedKings is on the OnGame Network you can expect real money cash games to peak at 7,500 players and above which means you will find the typical loose players at the micro games and the more experienced players above the $5/$10 range. On average the micro games can have an expected viewed flop percentage of 55%.

Games and Traffic (7.1)

Red Kings supports the standard variations such as Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo, 7 Card Stud and 7 Card Stud Hi Lo although you will find the majority of players are fixed on Holdem over any of the other variations offered.

Omaha still provides ample action during peak hours but does not have enough attention to have many pot limit tables running to choose from. The stakes begin as low as $0.10/$0.25 and can climb as high as $50/$100.

The majority of the games are played with 6 players rather than full tables. RedKings takes a 5% rake which is based on what game you are playing, the limit and how many players are in the pot. The maximum rake that will ever be taken is $3 although the low stake games can pay much less than that.

Tournaments (6.6)

RedKings hosts plenty of freerolls, re-buys and freezeouts daily with some fairly big guaranteed games offering large prize pools. The majority of the big events can be entered through qualifiers which can be found running almost every hour.

Tournaments start at as little as $1 and can climb as high as a couple hundred. If you’re looking for a qualifier to the WSOP or any other major event, you will find plenty of tournaments available along with weekly guarantee’s that consist of $40,000, $50,000 and $75,000 prize pools.

Overall they do offer a fairly competitive schedule for tournaments. Sit and Go’s are available but during off peak hours you may have to wait slightly longer than most of the larger rooms.

Software (7.4)

The software at Red Kings is available for all players with two options currently available. You will be able to choose between a full download client or an instant Java application with both methods running at top performance. The graphics are nicely designed and are very much the same as any other room using OnGame, so you can expect the three dimensional avatars, and an easy to use lobby.

The lobby is one of the simplest to navigate and doesn’t offer a lot of unnecessary options. You will find all your vital statistics such as viewed flop percentage, or hands played per hour by clicking on the table. This will than allow the information to be displayed in the side menu. Red Kings also supports a lobby chat within both the main lobby and each tournament lobby.

Hand statistics are very basic with few options supported but they do allow the use of Poker Tracker or other third party statistical software if you would like more detailed information. Multi-tabling is offered with up to four games simultaneously. This feature only supports fixed windows at this time. RedKings supports game play on both PDA’s and cell phones.
