Million Dollar Tournament in Louisiana

On December 3rd the Coushatta Casino Resort in Louisiana will be the host of the Seven Clans Poker Cup Series. The main event of the series will have a $1 million prize pool up for grabs. The tournament will have six scheduled events and many pros are expected to attend. Players such as Thang Kido Pham, Nam Le, Mark Ellerbe and Susie Isaacs have been known to attend.

The first event will be No-Limit Hold’em with a buy-in of $225. The next day there will be a Team Event with a buy-in of $335. On the 5th and 6th there will be No-Limit Hold’em events with buy-ins of $335 and $225 respectively. On the 7th there will be a No-Limit Hold’em with the largest buy-in so far with $550.

The main event will take place on the 8th-10th and will cost $3,100 to enter.  Some of the events will have breaks between play and there will be no re-buys or add-ons. There will also be a dealer’s special available where for $15 players will receive an extra 1000 chips that can be bought at buy-in. The money will be used to go in a Dealer Pool.

Before the series starts, there will be a super-satellite available for players interested in qualifying for the tournament. They will begin at noon on December 2nd. The prize packages available will be for entry for all events except the Team one. The satellite will have a buy-in of $275 plus $30 and each player will receive $4,000 in chips.

The winner will receive a prize package worth $5,500.  That is enough money to enter all the events. There will be one prize awarded for every $5,500 in pool money. The satellite has limited seating so be sure to register early.
