How the system works is that a random golden card is displayed, and if you had that card in your hand (even if you folded) then you receive that gold card.

The $52,000 promotions is for the winner of the Gold Card Series 3 promo. To win this, all you have to do is either be the first person to collect all 52 gold cards, or if no one collects them all, just have the most unique gold cards at the end of the promotion. The end comes 30 days after the last gold card is released.
